We are a Dutch couple and moved in September 2001 from Apeldoorn in The Netherlands to Norway. We share an interest in the Siberian Husky. The interest in the Siberian Husky was sparked in Martin when, at the age of 10 years, he saw a picture of a siberian husky. He almost immediately fel in love with the black and white 'colours' and the blue eyes of the animal on this picture (yet, he never had a Siberian Husky with two blue eyes-:) ). As a result of this 'love' he started to read books by Jack London - and became intrigued by the combination of sledgedogs and wilderness. This is one answer for our move to Norway.
Right now we live together with 8 siberian husky's. 3 of which we had from being a puppy. The other 5 have found, at a young age, their home with us.
The dogs and we enjoy sledging. At the moment we do not do this competitively (maybe later) and are not involved in breeding.
